The Damage Has Been Done

Not even Brooke Shields could help the ailing Hannah Montana. Was is just a coincidence her ratings were down for the highly advertised new episode of Hannah Montana or was it inevitable. I watched the episode Sunday night because I love the show. I had a feeling all the negative publicity in regards to her photo was going to hurt her and that seems to be evident in the dropped ratings for this previous Sunday, May 4, 2008 .

Miley Cyrus stars as Hannah Montana, a teenager who lives a secret life as a pop star. Cyrus's real life dad, country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus, plays her dad and manager. Miley just moved from Tennessee as a country singer and now has to adapt to life in Malibu. The show includes original music recorded by its star, Miley. Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment star as the friends of Miley who know her big secret and Jason Earles stars as Miley's brother.

I believe due to her poor choices in regards to this photo may have done more damage to her show than she wants to believe.
