DALLAS -- A Southwest Airlines passenger got an unwelcome reception in Dallas after allegedly giving the crew a hard time about using his cell phone.

Officials said that when the man refused to get off his cell phone during the flight, Southwest officials summoned police, who met the jet at Love Field

The call apparently involved cardiac care for Jones' critically ill father. A business associate said the nature of the call was life and death.

You know most, if not all, planes do have air phones for use. I am sorry if it is a matter of life or death for 200+ passengers on a plane not to use your phone, I suggest stay off of it.
