Other News

Do we really ever believe those tabloids? I know I have talked(ok, ranted) about this before, so I won't get into it. I was just over at the Fox News page and noticed a really nice(at least I think) article on Lindsay Lohan. I have always liked her. I always thought she was so cute. The first time I saw her acting was in the remake of "The Parent Trap," such a cute movie.

"It was very disappointing. I wanted a temper tantrum, a quick run to the bathroom for a snort, anything juicy!" Roger Friedman

Also he talks about the sad news of Dana Reeve:

"Reeve, 44, is not a smoker, which makes the situation all the more baffling."
Roger Friedman

I would have to agree I also find this very baffling. It is possible though. Working in the medical field, I know this.

"I have no doubt she will tackle her cancer — which I gather she was forced to divulge because the tabs were going to "out" her mercilessly — with the same courage and strength."
Roger Friedman

On to another subject, my husband and I were watching Steel Magnolias last night on DVD(I have probably seen it 30x's). I love that movie and we were watching the extras and I learned something new about that movie. I had no idea that the writer of this story based it on real life of his sister. It basically was his tribute to his sister and her young child. OK, how many of you out there knew this and I am just out of touch?
