Back From Vacation

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan waits for people to show up at her book signing near President Bush's ranch on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005 in Crawford, Texas.

OH BOO HOO!!!!

This story and I was very happy to hear about it. Mr. MM and I were in Oregon over the holiday and went to a bookstore and were happy to see that this twit's book was nowhere to be found. She is such a disgrace. Maybe she will get the hint. GO HOME! and SHUT UP!

Alias

Wasn't that so sweet on last night's episode of Alias. Jack and Sydney putting the baby crib together. Then I turned to Mr. Media Matters and told him we are going to have to do that. He said can't we get it assembled? (No, I told him) Right when he said that Jack and Sydney were rolling it in to the baby's room and it wouldn't go through the door. I said, "see that's why(no)"

Would You Eat It?

Glow-In-The-Dark Meats? No Worries

SYDNEY, Australia -- An Australian food agency is trying to quell fears about glow-in-the-dark meats.

While most of us would understandably be shocked to see our food glowing, it is important to remember that the microorganism responsible for the glow is not known to cause food poisoning," the authority's director general, George Davey,
said in the statement.

I don't know, I don't think I would eat. Not while I am pregnant anyway. I might be brave enough after. Most cooking does kill bacterias.

The Matrix?

Machines and objects to overtake humans on the Internet: ITU
Nov 17 7:55 AM US/Eastern

One might wonder with few of the things mentioned in this article.

In a report entitled "Internet of Things", the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) outlined the expected next stage in the technological revolution where humans, electronic devices, inanimate objects and databases are linked by a radically transformed Internet

"It would seem that science fiction is slowly turning into science fact in an 'Internet of Things' based on ubiquitous network connectivity," the report said Thursday, saying objects would take on human characteristics thanks to technological innovation.

Currently there are about 875 million Internet users worldwide, a number that may simply double if humans remain the primary users of the future. But experts are counting on tens of billions of human and inanimate "users" in future decades.

Technology has come a long way. Just looking back in the last 30 years. What does our future hold? I ask you now. The blue pill or the red pill?

I Saw This Coming

Maybe you remember back in August I posted on something like this. I think it was a small prediction of sorts.

A future of empty doorsteps? Dark days for US newspapers
Nov 13 9:53 AM US/Eastern

Dark days are ahead for American newspapers, as sales tumble, a warp-speed
news culture leaves lumbering dailies behind and scandals over flawed reporting
taint heavyweight titles.

US papers are battling an explosion in online information, a news agenda
powered by bloggers and 24-hour cable news, and they can't seem to connect with
young readers

The San Francisco Chronicle saw circulation fall 17 percent for its
Wednesday to Saturday editions, while another big beast of the newspaper jungle,
the Boston Globe, slumped 8.2 percent to a weekday average of 414,225.

I am not surprised with all of the bias and false stories leading the way. This could be the beginning of the end for the daily print. With bloggers constantly on the up and up, you can't be surprised that the truth comes out and leaves the dailies sucking their thumbs.

Thanks Veterans

It is important that we all remember that we are in a free country because of the men and women that are currently fighting for that freedom and the ones that have fought in the past for that freedom. Next time you see a veteran walk up to him/her and thank them. You are standing on free soil because of them. My father was in the Army and still the Army Reserves. My step-brother is currenty deployed in the Middle East, he is a Green Beret. It saddens me to see all these morons on tv; actors, that twit Sheehan, and others that ridicule and and spit on these honorable people.
Thanks Veterans! Jobs well done!

A Disappointment

Of course it was, do you think the libtards of this state would let a thing like good initiatives pass? I heard New Jersey and Virginia voted in their libtard Governors. I also heard those two had really nasty attack ads. What do you expect from the left. I am very sorry to see our Governor's initiatives fail. The Unions remain in control. I voted!

Economics

The left would have you believe that the economy is in such dire straights and it is all Bush's fault. Hmmm? On my way in to work yesterday I heard the morning economic report and productivity was up and consumer spending was up. Sounds like a good economy to me. Unemployment down from 5.1 to 5.0%. I guess there was lower expectation on new jobs though. Considering my household has no money because we spend it would suggest to me that I definitely contribute to the economic growth. The Wal-Mart down the street is always packed that would also suggest to me people are spending money, hence economic growth. Doesn't sound very dire to me.

Yes on the Governor's initiatives on 11/8, make teachers work harder for there tenure, don't let the unions stay in control.

I Am SO SICK OF THIS WOMAN!!!

I am pregnant and it does not take much for me to get sick to my stomach. As I sit and peruse the blogs and The Drudge Report (while I eat my lunch) I come across this. It really made my stomach turn. She is going on like she has a vote in NY. Spare me. I can't stand Clinton either but to see this woman(Sheehan) anywhere near a Political office would be the downfall of civilization as we know it now. This woman is despicable. I would certainly love to see her live anywhere but here in CA. Also, keep her face off the TV.

Cindy Sheehan for President Or Senate.
The anti-war left seeks a challenger for Hillary Clinton
by Kristen Lombardi
November 1st, 2005 12:22 PM

She then offered up a challenge, urging activists to withhold their support for the popular senator unless she comes around. "It's time to tell your elected officials, 'If you're not with us, you're against us,' " Sheehan said, "and if you're against us, we'll vote you out of office.

Brainster had a different comment on this subject:

"We can only hope that Cindy listens to these people."
